On this page you can read the steps of how I started by gathering inspiration, then created a virtual AI mockup of my new home office, and finally brought it to life with real products.

Final result The final result

I used to have a basic home office desk made of large planks on fixed legs. It worked fine for years, but I wanted the option to stand while working and something that looked more professional. My old desk was cluttered, and I wanted to start fresh with a clean workspace I could also use for hobby projects, like building my own sensors.

Since I had a spare bedroom, I decided to convert it into a dedicated home office. That gave me the opportunity to start from scratch, redoing the walls, ceiling, and floor to create my dream home office!

The result

A desk setup is never truly finished; there are always improvements to make or accessories to swap out. But the main build is done, and comparing it to my original mood board, the end result is surprisingly close!
