Feed: ESPHome - DIY CO2 sensor

My favorite sensor is the CO2 sensor!

When the level is too high you can feel tired, you start yawning, and it can give you a headache. Also, your concentration drops immediately.

With active alerts to open a window you keep healthy and fresh! After I installed them in my home office and living room I’m aware of it now.

I created a cheap one myself. If you want a nice challenge and want to learn how to create one yourself, this is a good project for you as well. You don’t need to solder.

The only steps to take are: connect the sensor to an ESP board and with the ESPHome software flash the code on it.
