With the help of AI, I designed my new work-from-home office. I went from an old fixed desk to a minimalist, stylish workspace with a standing desk, dark walnut tones, a green accent wall, acoustic panels, a large curved monitor, and a clean setup for my daily work and personal projects.

The project started with a mood board, where I collected ideas from Pinterest, social media, and desk setup examples. After a while, the direction became clear: walnut wood, dark green, plants, acoustic wall panels, and a more professional desk setup.

To turn the idea into something more realistic, I used AI to create virtual room designs based on a photo of the old room and my mood board. That made it much easier to test different ideas, such as the type of floor, wall colors, shelves, and desk size, before building something and only later finding out it was not the best choice.

After that, I rebuilt the room with a complete room decoration makeover: fresh paint, walnut-style laminate, acoustic sound panels, new curtains, smart ceiling lights, storage, and wall shelves.

The main desk setup hardware includes the electric standing desk, a 49-inch curved monitor, monitor arm, laptop, keyboard, and the other hardware I use every day.

For the finishing touch, I added accessories to complete the workspace, such as the monitor light, desk mat, headset, laptop stand, phone charger, desk clock, moss terrarium, and other practical details.

Because it is still a smart home office, I also listed my office automations. These include turning on the monitor and lights when I enter the room, lighting based on presence and daylight, heating based on chair occupancy, an on-air light for calls, CO2 notifications, temperature alerts, and air conditioning control.
